Book Launch: Stuart Antrobus’ “Life in Bedford During the Second World War”

We are delighted to host our first book launch since you-know-what. It’s also our first non-fiction book launch as we develop our programme to support local historical research in addition to our work with local creative writers.
Local historian Stuart Antrobus has produced this interesting book, published by Bedford Local History Society [BAALHS], priced at £9 and available from the bookshop.
We have been asked so many times if there is a book on Bedford during the second world war – and now at last we can answer ‘yes’! It’s fascinating, well produced and highly recommended.
