Ouse Muse: Open Mic Poetry Feat. Guest poet Korrin Smith-Whitehouse

| Ouse Muse is back on Tuesday 6th September with guest reader, Korrin Smith-Whitehouse Korrin Smith-Whitehouse is the founding editor of Public Sector Poetry, an Arts Council funded writing project aimed at people working in, or retired from, professions in education, health, psychology, social care, and social work. In 2021 she won an Aurora Prize and she was a performer at Latitudes 2022. She is Senior Lecturer in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion at the University of Northampton. We will have our guest reader slot, and then the rest of the evening will be open mic poetry! When and where? 7.45 (for a 8pm start ) on Tuesday 6th September at the Eagle Bookshop (16-20 St Peter’s Street, Bedford MK40 2NN) There will be a lively open mic, so please feel free to bring your work (or another’s poem!) to share. Wine and soft drinks available, and browsing and book-buying strongly encouraged! We hope to see you there. |
