23cm x 15.5cm x 1cm, unpaginated, marbled endpapers, bound in green cloth with green leather corners and hinge, and gilt lettering along the spine.
This work is founded upon the Appendix to Rickman's 'Attempt to Discriminate the Styles of Architecture in England' and includes the whole of his notes with the intention to give some account of every church in England, here accounting for Bedfordshire.
Condition
Corners bumped with leather chipped, hinges worn especially at the head and foot. Ownership plate on the front paste-down dated 1873, foxed throughout.
