Published c. 1840, A memoir of the Rev. Samuel Kilpin, born in Bedford, written by a 'near relative.' The Reverend was a much-respected and loved Baptist pastor whose greatest desire was to be though of, not as a great man, but a ueful man.

Two small marks to front cover and some discolouration to spine. Bumping to head and tail of spine, and small closed tear to head of spine. Occasional foxing throughout text. ownership inscription and message on front pastedown and front end paper.
