Biggest Open Mic poetry night in Bedford has its July outing!

In July, we welcome guest reader Matthew Caley.

Matthew's 7th and latest collection is To Abandon Wizardry, his fourth from Bloodaxe. His debut Thirst was nominated for The Forward Prize for best 1st collection.

He has read everywhere from The National Portrait Gallery to The Gypsy Hill Tavern, in Novi Sad, in Prague, in Wayne Holloway-Smith's living room, for Paris Lit Up, at StAnza - where he gave the StanzA Lecture 2020 - and a mid-century Modern furniture store in Crystal Palace.

We will also have an open mic as usual, so bring along your work.
